The Cable News Network, also known as CNN, is a cable news channel based in the United States, founded by Ted Turner in 1980. It launched its website in 1995, originally called "CNN Interactive". CNN has often been accused by conservatives of having a left-wing bias, and in 2016 CNN president Jeff Zucker admitted the network was "a little too liberal”. During the 2016 Presidential election, it was revealed that CNN commentator Donna Brazile had leaked debate questions to the Hillary Clinton campaign. Brazile later resigned. In early December 2016, CNN apologized to Donald Trump after one of their crews joked about his plane crashing.
On Independence Day 2017, CNN threatened to dox a 15-year-old boy for creating a meme that had been retweeted by Trump.
