The Cable News Network, also known as CNN, is a cable news channel based in the United States, founded by Ted Turner in 1980.[1] It launched its website in 1995, originally called "CNN Interactive".[2] CNN has often been accused by conservatives of having a left-wing bias, and in 2016 CNN president Jeff Zucker admitted the network was "a little too liberal”.[3] During the 2016 Presidential election, it was revealed that CNN commentator Donna Brazile had leaked debate questions to the Hillary Clinton campaign.[4] Brazile later resigned. In early December 2016, CNN apologized to Donald Trump after one of their crews joked about his plane crashing.[5]

On Independence Day 2017, CNN threatened to dox a 15-year-old boy for creating a meme that had been retweeted by Trump.
