The European migrant crisis, also known as the Syrian refugee crisis, began in mid-2015 when illegal migrants from Syria, among other Arab and African countries, tried to get into Europe at the Greek, Macedonian and Bulgarian borders. Later that year, the Bataclan attack happened, followed by the taharrush sex attacks at Cologne's New Years Eve party.

These events were the turning point for the popularity of Brexit and populist politicians such as Donald Trump, Geert Wilders and Marine Le Pen.

The crisis has been prophesied by men such as Oom Nicolaas van Rensburg[1] and Alois Irlmaier[2].
